A week of food and a birthday

On Sunday Chris finally had a day off so after we moved some wardrobes around at home we treated ourselves to a Sunday roast down the pub. It was super lush and nice not to do the washing up.

On Tuesday I went to dinner with Juliette. I hadn't seen her in ages so it was lovely to finally catch up while she is back down here. We talked, laughed and ate way too much food. 

It was my mums birthday on Today, I baked her a cake (which was slightly lob sided) but tasted lovely. We went out for a shopping trip and I brought a new house plant which I'm going to try not to kill! My previous track record isn't brilliant. It was a pretty nice day.
